GOOD PEOPLE DON'T GO TO HEAVEN, BELIEVERS DO!
There is no one who is good, no, not even one, In-fact, even the ‘good’ things we do, God said are like filthy rags to him.
Its time to get right with God!
We can’t get right with God through our own ability but we can get right with God through the work of Jesus Christ.
Have you ever…
·Stolen? (even if it was only worth one pence)
·Lied? (even if it was to spare some-ones feelings)
·Used Gods name to express your feelings ( e.g., ‘oh G*d what now?’)
These are three of the Ten Commandments (AKA Gods Law) and If you have broken any of these laws, God classes you as a sinner (a law breaker). God is a perfect and just God so he must punish law breakers.
God is in-fact so perfect and just that he looks into our thought life and if we have entertained an idea of murder or theft etc, its as though we have done it already and God will hold us to account on judgement day.
Are you Innocent or Guilty?
If you’re found guilty of these crimes you will go to hell
Hell is a very real place where there is a lake of burning sulphur and the fire never quenches, it’s a place of torment for all of eternity.
But if you want to be found Innocent then you’ll need to find God’s grace
You will not go to heaven because you’re a good person but only because of the work of Jesus Christ. Jesus paid the price for your sin on the cross of Calvary so that you could be set free.
Jesus received the punishment for sin on the cross, not just for you but the whole of humanity.
Jesus died but came alive again three days later because he was sinless, and only sinners (law breakers) go to hell. God doesn’t want anyone to go to hell but for all of humanity to go to heaven for eternity.
There is no time to lose! God will not come into your life if he is not invited. So invite God into your life now!
Repentance is necessary for you to be saved from God’s anger. You have to feel sincere remorse and regret, not only for what you have done against man but more so how you have offended God by braking God’s Holy and Just Law.
Pray and ask God into you life, and he will direct your next step. Remember! Good people don’t go to Heaven, Believers do!
